XLR cable choice

So after a lot of looking, I finally picked up a 4B ST and a BP25. The budget just wouldn't stretch to get anything newer, but I'm quite pleased with what I found.

Right now I’m just using cheap a$$ RCA cables I had kicking around as interconnects between them.

My next assignment is proper XLR interconnects.  My plan is to DIY them.  I plan to use Neutrik NC3FXX/NC3MXX connectors and either Van Damme Tour Grade Classic XKE starquad or Mogami 2534 quad cable.  The cable will be about 20’.

I’ve read elsewhere that the Bryston factory cables use the Van Damme starquad.

Any thoughts (within this budget range that is)?

Can anyone at least comment or confirm that the factory Bryston cables use Van Damme quad?

Has anyone used Digiflex XLR cables? They seem to be a reputable Canadian company with a wide range of professional products.

I use 7 of their one metre and one of their 7 metre  "studio flex" C4  series XLR cables.
Super quiet noise floor and all around nice quality connectors and wire for a very resonable price.
