I have two custom birch double 12-ply cabinet backings that I had made to firm up the bass and equalize the Cornwall. These are made according to the Floth "Equalizing the Cornwall" mods listed on the Progressive Engineering website. If you ever thought to explore getting your Cornwall to go deeper, and firmer in the bass region. These are an easy install. Just unscrew your existing backings, removing the damping material from the stock backing, and mount that material on these. Screw in the new backings. All the screw holes are already drilled, and these backings have 2 sets of predrilled holes for Anti-Cables speaker wire. I didn't use the stock speaker terminal bindings, rather ran Anti-Cables directly to the crossovers.
http://www.progressive-engineering.com/klipsch/cornwall_mod.htm I'm asking $75 for the pair. Local Pickup (Chicago burbs) only as it would probably cost more than that to ship these.
