The Phillips DVD-975SA should hit the market between June and September of this year. Alex tauts this player as being the best player to come along so far. No specs are available yet but I'll be keeping my eye out for it.

hope the vid quality is up there, then it may replace my Panny RP-91, which is getting too picky with DVDs.

The picture posted by BigBang Electronics is a fraud. No pictures are available of the DVD975SA. I believe the 975SA will be built similar to the 963SA and SACD 1000.

Spoke with onecall.com today about the Phillips 975SA and they told me that the retail price of this player will be $699.00. They weren't exactly sure when the player would be available.

It's not the DVD975SA. The replacement is the DVP900SA. And it's a beauty. Comes in black and silver.
