SOLD: Pro-Ject Debut III w/upgrades.
« on: 22 Apr 2011, 10:36 am »
Hi,

I'm selling this package I got from another forum member a few weeks ago (his username is putz).  I didn't open it, it's been double boxed.  I need some mula to finish some outdoor projects within a week or two, so I'll probably regret this decision later in the year.  I paid $650 shipped for it!

Anyway - here's putz's description - and my price:

"Less than one year old Pro-Ject Debut III with all the necessary upgrades. Speed Box2, Acryl-it Platter, Ortofon OM20 stylus, KABUSA Super Record Grip MK2 and Bellari VP29 Phono Preamp. All items bought new except for platter. Cost for all items is $940 per Needle Doctor website. Items easily rate a 9 for condition. I have all packing materials. I have original platter and OM5SE stylus which came with table and are included. Will cost a little extra to ship both platters due to added weight. I will double box everything."

$SOLD.  I ship the same day I receive payment.   :thumb:

Thanks!
ELmO

OK I'll respond later tonight, I can split the package without the Bellari preamp and send it to buckeyefanandy.  I'll let you guys know.

Thanks,

Somebody got a fantastic bargain.  That should have been mine, but timing is everything.  Good luck with your auto rehab.

$???? front control arms and bushings

Argh...will need to sell my Nintendo 3DS and probably Onix H34 amp (haha sandbagger!). =(

He's a newbie like me, so he may need some help setting it up.      :thumb:

Tirerack.com is your friend, way better prices on tires, and dont be afraid of Kumo or Toyo, they make good stuff, we use them on the race car.

Actually I use tirerack, so it will be about $650 for tires themselves.  I think it's like $200 to mount/balance and an alignment + tax is like $900?

The front control arms/bushings is what worries me more, I think they're shot.  Argh it's easy to ignore a car you drive only like 4 months a year!

dont make me jealous

i did buy a $200 battery for BMW today and gave it a wash.

it still needs front control arms/bushings ($1300), tires ($650), mounting/alignment ($300), insurance ($460), and oil change ($100).   Gave it a drive and it's as awesome as I remember...so maybe it deserves some of that.  Argh.   :duh:
