Nice work, Ruben!  That is almost exactly like the ones I was gonna have you build for me.  

Since I got my X-Statiks I pretty much gave up on the V's as well as OB bass.  You never know though.  Life changes constantly.

Are you asking me why I prefer the X-Statiks?

They are the best speakers I've heard under a $1000.  Even without a sub they have surprising bass capabilities.  Coupled with an X-Voce, a pair of X-Omnis and a Single Servo Sub, I have a killer home theater set!

I'm sure the V's probably have better resolution and dynamics but right now I'm pretty well satisfied.

Now you're really making me regret selling my X-Statiks  I was faced with a double-move and they had to go.. 

Make sure you listen without the top front and back metal grill off.
