NYC area: Shop tools for sale
« on: 18 Apr 2011, 07:39 pm »
I need to sell some of my larger power tools.  These are large and heavy so this really can only be in the NYC area for cash and carry.

2) 10" TS3640 Cast iron contractor style Rigid Tablesaw.  $300 obo
its a version just before this one but essentially the same (grey instead of orange).  Some light rust one table from dampness in basement.  I have an extra TS3650 fence as well and a dust collector attachment for collector below.  Used condition but working well.

It's too bad that I'm so far away otherwise, I'd take that bandsaw off of your hands.  All the best with the sale.

Kind regards,
Tom

I think my asking prices are more than fair.  I get that you were joking though.
Yea, sorry...just kidding.
Nice equipment though. I've very envious. Not that you're selling it, of course. Just that I'd love to have any of the pieces.
Your prices are much more than fair, in all honesty.

I've had the same table saw for 7 years, never even thought about upgrading, it is the perfect hobby saw. They really thought it through and made the right choices. Rolling base is easy to use and strong, fence is easy to use, accurate, and repeatable to 1/64". Webbed extensions are good for clamping work down for routing or sanding. Left tilt for safety and nice smooth miters against fence. Bought mine new for $600 assembly required. Nice deal!  :thumb:

ridgid tends to strike the right balance on their higher end offerings (mid-level overall).  The orbital sander is a seriously nice piece of gear, imho.  They really pack a lot of punch in an affordable and compact sander.

Josh, you need to move to the midwest so that I take take a few of those tools off of your hands.

All the best with the sale!

Tom

P.S.  I used that Ridgid table saw for many years and it handled everything that I threw at it.

yeah the Ridgid saw is about as good as you can get before moving up to heavy and expensive cabinet saws.
