Love and Other Drugs

I found this to be a smart comedy seen on DVD.  Too smart.  Starts off very funny.  I confess I ejected it bout the time I thought it was gonna become a downer.  The written dialog for the lead actor and actress who become involved was a little too cute and unbelievable, imo, and had started to wear on me.  It was like the screen writer was saying, hey, look at me!  But, and I mean this with respect or maybe awe is more like it, the physical beauty of Anne Hathaway in the buff was way more that I had imagined.  I think I've seen perfection.

I agree. That was THE defining moment of the movie, without which it would've been complete kaka.

A little too skinny for me, I must say, but still quite enjoyable.  :P

Dont know about perfection, but shes easy to look at.  A loooong way from Princess Diaries, thats for sure.

My wife enjoys the chick flicks.  I enjoy my wife, most of the time.  So let her pick the movie.  But was happy to see the plot twist, becoming more thought provoking.

SPOILER ALERT!

I especially appreciated the honesty in the scene where the boyfriend (forget name) asks the older guy dealing with his long time sick wife for advice. And he says, break up and find a new woman.  "Love my wife but wouldn't do it again".  Wow, you never hear it like that, especially in uplifting and inspirational chick flicks.

Good take, Robert.  I didn't stick around that long.  I just didn't want to go there.  I'm 6'2" and thin, sorta, so you can take my appraisal of the leading lady's other assets with prejudice.
