I am going a different direction with my audio setup and looking to sell my AV123 X-Static speakers (all black). $450 pickup in San Antonio, TX.
The AV123 X-Static speakers are an open baffle design capable of uncanny realism which will transport you on a musical journey to sonic nirvana. Their radiation pattern is best described as dipole in nature which means it will produce sound both forwards and backwards . This gives you a HUGE sound field and places musical instruments in their proper size and texture. If you are familiar with Magnepan, you will find these are like them but with bass. The AV123 X-Static is a truly incredible speaker. These speakers are designed by legendary audio guru Danny Ritchie of GR Research. These are in excellent condition and were purchased new from AV123 by a friend of mine. These were the last pair to be sold by AV123. I have the original box and packing materials, however they are for local pickup only in San Antonio, TX. The only thing wrong with them is one of the speaker spikes does not screw in all the way (I think the insert is stripped). However, you can buy a new bottom plate for $12 and put a new spike insert in the bottom. These are quickly becoming a true high end audio classic and they will compete with any system developed for less than $3000. They are set-up and available for audition in San Antonio, TX.
