I would like your opinions on the following speaker cables connected to Apogee or Magnepan planars...
I'm still searching for a goor pair of apogees for refurb...
But I haven't decided yet since the main problem with apogee is servicing... and with Maggies you don't have that sort of problem and it is a heck of a lot cheaper.
I'ma able to get a brand new pair of Maggies 1.6 for 2700€ and 3.6R for 4500€... but I always feel a bit nostalgic and miss that apogee sound.
Just lost a 1000€ business for a pair of duettas :.(
Anyway sorry for the off-topic, back to the cables.
Between Nordost's Valhalla and Kimber's KS3035 wich would you recommend to use with planar speakers.
I've heard Maggies with Nordost SPM and with DPA Deltec Black Sixteen and I thought thar the SPM had a better macth with the Maggies, gicing them a wider soundstage, faster response and a sence of more air in the music.
I have the possibility to accuire either one of these speaker cables for a very good price...
Please give me you opinions,
