Hi there.I have the 120 Audcom preamps coming in.I am the Canadian and USA distributor for the whole Audcom line.Sales,Service and warranty.Updates available and modifications.The only (authorized) dealer in the USA for the preamplifier will be The Tuner Guy.The units will come with a 3 year warranty and 90 days on tubes.The retail price on the preamp will be $449.00 not $999.95 as said by some other.Many mods will be available.Factory mods that we do will be covered under warranty when purchased from an authorized dealer.Capacitors used in power supply shunting will be Ansar PPA 1.0 630v Poly,Tube coupling and output caps will be Ansar SPA silver caps.The updated wiring will be Dh Labs silver or Kimber wire.All output jacks from board and from Alps pot to and from the ciruit board.NOS tubes and dampners.A DACT attenuator is a another option.A remote control kit for the DACT attenuator is now available to make the DACT remote usable.Other upgrades available.I hope this helps your questions out about the AP120 Audcom.It is a fine unit and will be very hard to compete against at its stock price level and when modified.All the best.

Not to step on anyone's toes, but if Sekei and tube guy can both buy audcom preamps, then most likely audcom does not have an exclusive distribution contract with anyone...yet.

Most Chinese companies will sell to anyone willing to pay.  That's my experience from importing string instruments.  Only the very biggest and most successful companies there can afford to seek out an exclusing contract.

Hope in a couple of weeks the audcom 120 modified  by Wayne will complete its break in process.

 I think that the wires, capacitors , hexfreds need at least 100+ hours to break in.
