Now here's a sci-fi comedy rib tickler. A potential family movie that got an R-rating for multiple F-bombs and it's really ashame as this movie had much more to offer than just nerdy profanity. I really wanted to see this movie cuz of the high rating that it's been getting and because comedian Seth Rogen is Paul the alien. Rogen does not disappoint and I found myself wanting to be BFF's with Paul, the alien dude was that cool. I found myself laughing out loud throughout this flick and walked away with a smile of my face.

Fun in all the right places. Unnecessarily profane in all the wrong places. Way too much cursing for a feel good movie. This from a guy who just enjoyed Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels in the same week!

But you gotta admit the nerdy drawing of Paul flipping the bird with F/U in capital letters was hilarious. Or not. But me, it hit me hard with laughter.

I just saw this movie and I think this thread deserves a bump.  The cursing was part of the story with the liberation of the one eyed daughter.  I thought some might object on religious grounds, but the cursing would  keep them away anyway.  I'd give it 4 out of 5 stars for being a good satire and the funniest flick in a long time.  Using Sigourney Weaver was a nice touch.
