What model is it? Dac1, Dac2, etc.? I have a factory upgraded Dac1 modified just after the Dac2 came out. It sounds good . . quick, vivid and full bodied but with a little emphasis in the lower treble, upper midrange that translates to kind of a physical excitement in MY system and on good recordings. Sibilants are articulated but not unmusical. Very good dimensionality and imaging, too. Can't give you any techical info, tho, as I've misplaced the manual. Can the Bel Canto site assist with that?
Also, what are you being asked to pay?
