I've always wondered ...

How can there be guys floating around STL with gear like this, and them not be part of the GAS crew?

Just seems odd to me that someone could be that into a hobby such as home audio, and not seek out others with the same passion.

Me too!  Anyone that has $33K speakers must have some pretty fancy front end gear. I would love to hear these.  Or do you think he is a buyer/seller of higher end gear?  Could be with 185 points on Agon???

Not sure how we could find out about these guys with wild gear in St. Louis.  Does anybody know who this is?

Maybe some people like what they like, and don't want to take the chance that others will question their gear. Some people aren't social creatures, and like to enjoy their passion in private.

Some people enjoy music and have the resources to spend large sums on their system, and are scared by audiophools.  :green:

Who knows, maybe we have a bad reputation.  :icon_lol:

Did you invite the guy to check us out?  He's right down the street from me in Clayton.
