Call Von Schweikert Audio and ask if they have a dealer in your area.  I'm in the Midwest and there are dealers out here so I'm sure there is some in your area with all the population.

I have a pair of VR-33's I let people can listen to in Milwaukee, but just for the next two months longer. I'm considering selling them because I want to upgrading to the VR-35's, also since we just started construction on a new house, I hate thinking they will be in storage for almost a year once we move move out in May.

Hey afterimage...whereabouts in the midwest?

Primus Audio Pleasure in Kansas City, used to carry them.  I just went to their website to double check if they still carried the VSA line, but sadly it appears they are out of business.  I thought they were one of the best dealers in the country.  They had a great showrooms, awesome gear and Al was great to work with.  Very sad for the high end.  Oh well, I guess that is the trend, brick and mortar dealers closing shop.

Right. And they have a 90-day in-home trial period.

What's the story with the blond accessory?  Is she included in the $3750 base price?  Did she lose her left arm in a corn picker accident?

Heh, I think Photoshop was involved...the lighting on her doesn't look quite the same as on the speakers. Stereomojo seems to do that to a lot of the photos in their reviews...not that there's anything wrong with that.

I like my VR-2s enough that I wouldn't hesitate to buy the VR-33s if I had the money...no prior audition needed.

I was ready to pull the trigger sound-unheard as well, but the buyer for my VR4JRs changed his mind at the same time I had 2 big car repair bills.  So I went from "I can do this with very little additional cash needed" to "Ahh crap, where am I gonna get $4K from" really fast!!

My JRs still sound sweet though. I've just had them for a while and was looking for something new.

Mike,

A friend of mine bought a pair of VR4 Jr MkIIs from Albert last year.  They were a showroom model mint.  He is driving them with an NAD pre and a McCormack amp, not sure the model number.  They sound very good and in my opinion not far behind the VR33s (I've had a pair of 33s here in my HT for audition).  You could be doing a lot worse my friend!  :thumb:

Hey Mike,

JR stands for, 'Just Right', as you might know already.
Maybe you better sell the Car and save some cash. I can send you a Dutch bike instead.
You also can send your JR's to me and have the VR 33 in stead, or even better the VR 35?
Never pull a trigger! Someone easily get killed.
