I own a BP1.5 and agree it is a terrific phono preamp.
Neutral and clear, true to the source is what i would say about the Bryston. Musical is another discriptive.
For owners of the BP-26, or those who also already own the power supply, it is the perfect choice if you want a good phono box.

I don't have the 1.5, but I do have the internal MM stage in the BP6 preamp. It's everything Elizabeth says and more. Your vinyl records just come alive! It is also very quiet. No hum at all. I'm glad someone finally reviewed this unit!
