Desktop: Snow Leopard
Laptop: Windows 7
Servers: VMWare ESXi, Citrix XenServer, Windows Server 2008

Add iOS if you count the iPad :D

MacOS, Windows, Linux all have their strengths and weaknesses.  I get annoyed by the stupid bickering that usually occurs whenever a discussion on operating systems is brought up.

Main Desktop - Win7
Laptop - WinXP
CAD/CAM system - WinXP
HTPC - WinXP
RAID Server for file share - WinXP
Back-up Server - Windows Home Server
Wife's CAD / CAM system - WinXP

From time to time I play with Mandriva Linux (which I prefer), but there are a few applications that prevent me from converting systems.

I might add a small networked HTPC in our bedroom to take advantage of our online movie library.  Maybe.  Maybe not.

I didn't really check my wife's Kindle reader.

Yes, they all serve their own function, located close to their designed use.

20 years ago I started off with a Mac - System 7 I think it was.  My desktop runs XP w SP3 and has been smooth and reliable for the past 7 years.  A few days ago I picked up an HP laptop with W7 but haven't had a chance to unpack it yet.

I don't understand the attraction to Apple.  For $1850 the Mac offers a slower CPU, less RAM, smaller and slower HD, smaller screen, DVD drive instead of Blu-ray and a slower video card over the HP laptop I bought for $750!  There's no way I'd pay 147% more for a slower machine with inferior hardware.

My 15" HP laptop (8510w) was more than a 15" MBP at the time i picked mine up, but they were truly comparable in spec.   The $750 HP laptops are not in the same ballpark performance wise as the MBP.    CPU frequency doesn't indicate performance either, you have to review the number of cores, cache size, ram latency, speed, number of memory channels, hyper-threading, turbo-boost, etc.    Lots of little buzzwords that increase performance for the power user that do cost a lot more to manufacture.   To most though, a $750 laptop is fine.

I have a mixture, but all windows.

Work laptop is a 32 bit Vista machine.
Home laptop (for the kids) is a Windows XP Home.
Main home PC is Windows XP Pro.
Dedicated music PC is Windows XP Pro.

Honestly I am happy with all of them.  The main PC is the oldest, over 7 years now.  I have had to reinstall XP Pro 2x in that timeline, but that is fine with me.

Laptop: Mac OS & Win 7 x64 Ultimate (MacBook pro from 2009)
Home Server: Win 7 x64 Professional
Workstation: Win XP x64 (at work)
Supercomputer: Win HPC Server 2008 (Cray CX1 also at work)

Of all those I think my preference is Win 7, but I really like Mac OS.

main desktop W7 x64
wife desktop W7 x64
second desktop W7 x64 and Ubuntu 10.10 - sacd recording and other silliness.
this laptop W7 x32
music room laptop W7 X32/Ubuntu 10.04 (I think)
music player 1 W7 x32
music player 2 Voyage Linux (debian)
VMWare ESXi which has 3 - 4 VM's with Ubuntu, Win xp, Win server 2k3
shop/test gear box is XP

Will have an OS X machine soon as I'm trading for a MacBook Air.

I rarely have problems with any of them. As to why mostly MS boxes, my job is mostly banging out C# code, so having some Win boxes around is a necessity and of course most all PC's come with it.
