Pioneer SA-510 & SA-610

Does anyone have any experience with these budget intergrated amps from the late 70's and early 80's? They're quite cheap and easy to find on ebay.

No offense meant here, but I think some of those years (1980s) of Pioneer where kind of junkie. Lots of lights and stuff, poor internal components, circuit boards and reliability. That is why there is plenty of it on eBay. They did make some good stuff in the earlier days and one of them was a nice intergrated amp that my buddy has, but for the life of me, can't remember the model number. Wait, maybe it was the SA-9500.....yes, that's it.

Here is a picture of it:

 

I guess they are fairly reliable, but are from the mid-1970s.

Yeah, I'm aware that amps I'm asking about are a cut below in terms of sound. But they are so damn nice looking. it's ashame they weren't higher quality.
