Piano Anthracite N3 Enclosures.........SOLD!

I've got a pair of N3 enclosures sitting at Danny's place that I'd like to get sold. They sustained some damage to the finish during shipping. I've not seen the damage in person, but as I understand it, most of it can be hidden by using modified bases. A couple of the bottom corners got banged up.

I'm asking $650 for the pair, plus shipping.

Below are some pictures of one of the enclosures before it was shipped.

I do have pictures showing the damage, but they're stored on another computer. I can get to them tomorrow.

Either way, a stunning bargain, especially since the damage is out of sight and probably will not compromise the final acoustics

Man ... SO tempting! Let's see, N3 kit for $390 and these for $650 ... just over 1k for an amazing and beautiful setup ... WOW!!

If these had those cool bevel edges that you did on some, I would pull the trigger right now. If you can put up the damaged pics that would be great. Also, you mentioned being able to cover up the problem with a base, is that something that could be added in the same finish?

Here are the pictures that Danny took. The crushed corners would need to be knocked down and then covered with some "base trim". It's been so long since I've looked at the pics that I had forgotten about the hairline cracks. Those would pretty much disappear with a little touch-up paint.

It appears as though the crushed sections extend about 3/4" up the side of the enclosures.

I'll post a sketch showing how the trim would hide the damage.

Let's drop the price to $500 for the pair.

BTW, the damage is non structural and will not effect SQ in any way.

A little trim piece around the bottom and you'd never see it.

Only a couple of the top corners have any damage and the damage on the top corners are very light by comparison.

I don't have any GR speakers. I had the N1X to try though.
