For Sale Bryston 28SST Squared mono blocks Only $12,500.00

I currently have a pair of 28 Squared mono blocks and I truely enjoy their offerings, I have compared them up against allot of other top notch world contender amps (didn't really care what the associated cost was, just wanted to hear the offerings and then go from there) and feel at the List price of $17,500.00 the Brystons are actually a true bargain in comparison.

-Mine are the "STUNNING" 17 inch with Silver face plates with no handles, absolutely GORGEOUS! looking.
-They are in "NEW CONDITION" and look like they were just taken out of their original packaging.
-They are the latest design, most current version.
-I do have all the original packaging including manual.
-Bryston offerrs a 20 YEAR WARRANTY which  is transferable so whom ever buys them gets the remainder.

I'm letting these go for ONLY $12,500.00, which is a huge savings so here's your chance to get some top notch amps at a great price.

Pick-up is welcome, shipping at buyers cost.
Payment via Wire Transfer, Money Oder or PayPal, if paying by PayPal add 4%

Hi mkaiser,

I found something that I prefer. :thumb:

Okay so I'll elaborate because that will most likely be the next question anyways.

I have been smitten with my current VAC Sig. MK2a pre w/phono, an opportunity came available. A person had the same speakers as I do along with pre-amp and had the VAC Statement 450 mono blocks ($78k) paired up with them so I hopped on a earliest flight and went for a three day listen. My intentions were to just have a listen and say "yup these are very nice and leave it at that" This set-up was a real world set-up being in some ones home, not a fancy room or anything like that. Long story short I have never heard anything like this period so I just had to have them and trust me I was looking for any way out, they are the real deal and that good.

Wow...
and again: Wow...

I think your experience was similar to the one I had only a week ago, when I visited the owner of Sovereign. He had an amazing set up, sound that sounded perfect starting at barely audible level all the way to window shattering and wall cracking... Unfortunately I did not have three days to enjoy this, I could only for three hours. Not nearly long enough.
Then again, maybe it's a good thing, so I didn't get too used to the sound...
Then again, I am already thinking about... yeah...

Ironically, there is something timeless about vacuum tubes. What a gorgeous unit and most certainly an awesome sounding presentation.

Congratulations DEV   :thumb:

Be well...

How old are they dev?
There is a pair of 2009/19"/silver for $10,600 in Manitoba for sale on Canuck.
Just wondering the justification of almost $2000 more?

While I am sure that Dev's are the most recent version with the new transformers and caps that were introduced in early 2010 (there is thread here outlining serial numbers, etc.) and possibly the ones in the Peg are the prior version that would require the upgrades to be brought up to current spec....

If I remember right, the transformer  and cap upgrade is around 900-1000 to upgrade per amp.
It might have went up as that was in the fall I think.
Will be doing mine sooooooon.

Hi Robert D, Werd and Laundrew

moderators have put my postings on restriction  :nono: due to my responce due to "levi's" thread which is totally unfair because it was his posting that was MALICIOUS towards me and started it all.
Doesn't sit well with me but dealing with it.

The VAC amps take aprox. 12 weeks build time so I'm looking at end of May or in June, mine are in Silver/Chrome finish.

Hi mclsound, are you intersted in puchashing them?

I'm not about to get into justifing what I have for sale which is at a GREAT SAVINGS! Mine are as described as above in MINT CONDITION and the LATEST VERSION, the latter

Mike Picket of Bryston said; Your 28's are indeed current technology, with the new caps and transformers.

If you feel the ones from Manitoba are the same then why not just buy them?
You can refer to my Positive feedback on Audiogon under DEV and also contact James Tanner as a reference so that being said; BUY with confidence knowing that. :thumb:
