1. Michael Bolton - yes I did go to a concert once - forced by an old girlfriend. He sings like he needs lots of prune juice
2. Rod Stewart - lately he thinks he's Barry Manilow and that probably is not a good thing
3. Barry Manilow - lately he seems like he is trying to compete with Rod Stewart trying to be Barry Manilow

Too many of them. Not to mention that for most cases I don't even know their names.

Let's rephrase like in "most hyped/advertised singers that you never cared to buy a record from and you actively try to avoid listening to when aired over radio/TV". Then I could come with a short list containing Britney Spears, Michael Jackson and Justin Bieber.
