I have one Siemens Silverplate tube available that is in need of a home.  This was my favorite tube in the stock Eastern Electric Minimax DAC and I preferred it to the Pavane, 1950s Mullard Long Plate and Mullard CV4003 by a significant margin.

In my Bolder modified DAC I find myself prefering the 1950s Long Plate and as a result this wonderful, rare tube is up for sale.

I purchased it NOS about six months back and used it exclusively in my EE DAC.  It's got years of life ahead of it.

I almost bought this tube from Fred but had to conserve monies for another piece of gear.  Fred is practically giving this tube away!

Anyhoo... hopefully someone will snatch it up so I don't have to see it here and be tempted.

Thanks, Randy.  My price is indeed low, but I'm just cleaning house at this point.  I've got a buncha stuff I've "been meaning to sell" that I need to move already...  preamps, rcms, tubes, cables... lol.  I need to get on the ball!

Great tubes, I'm currently using a pair in my TAD 150 and love them.  FWIW I also tried these in my cayin TA-30 with outstanding results as well.  Anyone looking for a quality 12au7 probably couldn't do much better. Good luck with the sale.

I did, sorry.  I do have a nice Mullard CV4003 which I haven't used in some time.
