F/S Dynaco ST-70 - total rebuild with 6L6GC outputs
« on: 20 Feb 2011, 10:26 pm »
This is an ground-up rebuild of a classic ST-70. Original output transformers but a new power transformer from Triode Electronics. Driver board is an EF86 based Triode Electronics board and the power supply cap is also a new board. As noted, 6L6GC outputs are used, but the original EL34s can be used as a direct replacement. Only a bias adjustment is needed.

Asking $595. (Was $625.) Will accept Paypal (no extra fee) or US Post Office Money Order only. Shipping paid by buyer. Photos available. I rebuilt this about 9 months ago for a second system. I don't use that system enough to justify keeping the amp. Contact me if interested or if you have questions.

I have a St-70 (rebuilt by Will Vincent) - awesome amp - would love to see a picture of yours (not in the market - just a fan). Not trying to hijack your post but, this looks to be an excellent deal!

The amp is also listed on Audigon. Here's the link with a photo. Note the price dropped a bit.
