Onix Liquidation Sale
« on: 15 Feb 2011, 09:11 pm »
Fresh new discounts applied!  There are just a few items left so don't miss out!

Angel City Audio will no longer be distributing the Onix line.  Going forward we will focus on Melody and the products being developed by Hugh under the Angel City Audio name.  We will still be carrying the stands, with the top plate customized to fit the Trinity's, however, although I don't know if they will carry the Onix name or not at this time.

As a result, we will be liquidating all of our Onix stock.  The standard 90 day warranty on demo and open-box items is in effect for everything you see here, including repair service if necessary.  Below is a listing of all the demo items and liquidation prices, along with the number available at that price.

There are still some NIB products available as well, although not discounted as steeply as these items.  If you want a nice deal on an Onix product not listed here, or if you really want something that has never been used before, contact your dealer and see what they can do.

It's sorta like a record player, but without all the noise.

The prices on the XIA-160's and Monitor 1's have been reduced to $1799 and $999 respectively.  These are both BELOW dealer cost and screaming deals on some fantastic gear.  Anybody picking these up will not be disappointed!

I just bought a dealer demo XIA-160. I've had it for about a week now. To anyone thinking about purchasing an integrated amp, all I can say is at this price I don't think you can do better. I'd been looking for a good integrated amp for a couple of months and was down to a new Jolida or a used Musical Fidelity. When I saw the price drop on another thread I said what the "F" and bought it blindly. Damn glad I did. I've owned separates (tube and solid state) that cost more but didn't sound nearly as good. I'm not saying this is the greatest thing ever, but what it does, at this price, is pretty damn amazing. Don't let the 160 watts fool you, this thing is a beast (and it's a hell of a lot bigger than you think - 67lbs). I'm getting some of the best bass I've ever heard from my speakers. It's dead quiet and absolutely gorgeous. I'm no equipment fanboy, but quite honestly, this is one of the better audio purchases I've ever made.

They sure are.  If they are hanging around (although I doubt it) after I re-do office furniture within a couple of months, I might forget I have too many speakers and grab a pair.  Heck of deal for someone

Glad you like the XIA-160.  It really is a fantastic sounding amp, and a value play even at retail.  If it was my own system only I'd probably keep it for a long, long time, but I'm a dealer and I need my capital back.  (plus I have a Melody AN300B sitting in my 2-channel rig, which the XIA-160 actually comes surprisingly close to, but can't match)

And the 160wpc is at 8ohms.  Those of you with 4ohm loads will get 300wpc.
