The warranty statement on the Bryston web site states:
"The copy of the bill of sale to any subsequent owner need ONLY include the Name of the Bryston Authorized Dealer and the Model and Serial number of the Bryston product."
I don't have a local Bryston dealer so I called Bryston and they suggested purchasing from Audio Advisor online. So that's where I bought my 4BSST2. However, Audio Advisor does not include the serial number on their receipts. So I have a receipt with the purchase date, model number, and the dealer name, but the only place I have the serial number is on the unit itself. Is this a problem, or is it okay that the serial number is not on the receipt? Should the official warranty statement be adjusted to reflect this reality? Thanks!
