Worst thing ever in the world

My stero in my garage, an old and heavy one, was too much for the shelf and ripped right off the wall and came smashing down on MY CAR!!!

I placed a new, industrial-strength Superman shelf in for a replacement.

Note: Buddy Holly poster in the background.

Sorry to hear that, I hate when that happens.

Had some friends who were awakened one night thinking they were being attacked - a lone kitchen cabinet full of plates and glasses had fallen off the wall and crashed into and dented the stove while sending every plate and glass smashing to  the floor.

Even if your components were completely damaged (looks like the majority may have survived), a used setup can probably be purchased for a couple hundred dollars.  Bigger question is how is the car?

That stinks. I had something similar happen but not as bad. I drove my truck into the garage and while trying to get far over (because my wife has to fit her car on the other side and she needs plenty of room to park) I hit the stereo shelf and broke my headlight/signal cover. Luckily the stereo didn't crash to the floor.
