Hi Felix,
Spotted your post on the Radio Interference thread.
How's things?
You've had a bit of a rough ride in your neck of the woods recently, have'nt you?
Hope all is well.

Hear there were really bad floods, cyclones, power outages and all kinds of natural disasters. Your post means you've got juice and the internet is going. Electric could be from a generator I guess.

How are you making out Felix?

In response to the OP, Felix got hold of me thru my website email address.
He appears to be having issues accessing AC at the moment and can't post or send PM's.
He's OK, but some damage to his property and local area, no doubt affecting internet access.
Hopefully he'll be back with us soon.

Hi Indiansprings - I did intend this as a thread, it's pretty significant stuff that's been going on in his neck of the woods. Thought it would be good to let another Vinyl Circle member know that we were thinking of him.

Cheers
Dave

G'day all, thanks for the enquiries.  Things are getting back to normal here (more or less) after a week or so, and all utilities are back on, like water and mains power.

It was a hell of a blow, with wind gusts here around 200 kph or more.  It was even worse a little further north of here.  Many people still have no power.

There has been a lot of damage, a real mess actually and now the rain is falling heavily.

Yes for some reason my AC post's disappear and I can't see why.   Regards, Felix.

We're a couple of 1000 miles south of Felix (Melbourne) and we caught the outskirts of it which led to (minor) flooding.

That was one hell of a storm - good to hear you're getting back up and running.

There's some picks Felix has posted up on Audiokarma too...

Bye for now
