Some of it is excellent, but...a lot has an overemphasis in the bass.  Track dependent.

Just to add:  vocals are excellent, piano is exceptional, excellent overall sonics; it's just the bass overemphasis on quite a few tracks.  Guess is that the bass track was overdubbed too hot onto the original vocal studio recording.

I cannot speak to the sound quality of this recording.  However, I have now downloaded three HiRez albums from HDTracks.  Two of them are definitely worth the $17.95 charge.  Those two were Gaucho and Tabula Rasa.

However, I also downloaded the following HiRez album:

The SQ on this album sucks canal water!!  I have to turn the volume WAY up on my pre.  Just very disappointing to say the least.  Actually, I may contact them about re-downloading to see if I get a better result.
