SOLD. Philips 312 TT
« on: 7 Feb 2011, 09:22 pm »
SOLD.

Bought this locally for fun, but won't get to it.
Has no cartridge.
Has no cartridge (no need to ask  :icon_lol: ).
All buttons light and function. It spins at 33 and 45. With no cartridge tonearm floats so can't try the lift function.

Sorry about the photo quality, my viewfinder isn't working so it's a guess where I'm aiming.

$10 plus shipping from 95521, usa.

I don't have experience shipping TT's, but do pack well. If you need to tutor me on shipping TT's I'm open.
Thanks, Don

My buddy had the GA212 in college. Used to love breathing on the touch sensitive button-lights to make it change speeds. Brings back memories...Somebody should buy this right away!

Shipping: If you remove the platter, there are two holes for securing the sprung chassis. Maybe there are screws in these holes, the instructions on setup say to remove the screws and washers before use. They are hidden by the platter and are around 2:30 and 6:00 o'clock. Maybe you could find two screws of the same thread that would tighten the suspension down if the screws are missing.

Remove the tonearm counterweight and use a twist tie to hold the tonearm in its rest. Remove the dustcover and hinges. Pack. Ship!

I'll take it! I have one I bought off ebay for a LOT more than that back when I didnt know better and the cover arrived broken and it was pretty crappy condition. This would make me feel better. I really liked that table. It sounded VERY good to me despite the flimsy feel. Shipping to SoCal shouldnt be too bad.

How's the exterior condition-wise?
