Qts 0.7 allows them to play very low without electronic boost. Low voice coil inductance allows them to play very high without rolling off, making low order crossover to full range drivers easy. Underhung motor preserves driver control and detail at higher volume levels. Low mechanical resonance, easy load dual 8 ohm coils per driver, and high efficiency 94dB at 2.83V. In summary, these are perfect drivers for open baffle speaker. These are the same bass drivers used in the award winning Lotus Group's Granada open baffle speakers.
