Looks like Bob has revamped his home page, to reflect the FR125 release.  After hearing these little guys, I can understand that completely.

I think I will try these in an open baffle, just for fun - I don't expect any bass (strictly a comment on my room, not the driver, since I am using subs with 8 inch drivers in OB), but I would like to see how it runs the mids and highs, with the open sound of the OB. unquote===========

Hi Mark, at that time your setup had the Visaton B200
I have the B200 in OB as well ( with GR-Research servo woofers). But I am thinking to replace them with 4 parallel FR125 SR  a side as I expect the little 4,5 inch to have faster transient response

I wonder how yr trial went ( even after all those yrs

Thanks for the note, that sure was a while ago!

I never did get around to trying the FR in OB.  I used them in ported boxes, but eventually moved them on.

I still use the b200 in OB, and with the Planet10 phase plugs, am happy.

I recall on DIYAudio that some folks did try the FR on OB, you might want to searh over there.
