Stax Bias supply using battery?

Stax Bias supply using battery?

I see that Audio Consulting are using a battery based bias supply on their Stax driver amp. Does anyone know how this could be achieved by DIY?

Not sure grant,
but you can take a look at head-fi, i think there are some threads on that.
