The only movie I ever saw of hers that I know of for sure (I may have seen The Passenger with Jack Nicholson) was Tango.  It was Brando's and the director's movie altho I read subsequently that Brando was very unhappy with the movie in the end, but she was perfect in it, I thought.

That scene when Paul's wife who had killed herself was posed on the bed with flowers and Brando sits in a chair some distance away and talks to her and as he becomes more bitter and enraged he scoots his chair several times closer to the bed and into the downward pointing lamp light as Gato Barbieri gains intensity along with Paul admitting his regret is flat out great cinema.  I read somewhere that Brando improvised his dialog in that scene.  It had to come from somewhere and he alledgedly was highly pissed at the director for not editing it out.  Schneider had regrets about being in the movie, also.

I agree with Brando and Maria, I also could regret of this movie.

Here there is a famous and milionair host of TV programs for childrens, that when young made porn movies and dated much time with the soccer player Pelé.

She bought all copies of this porn movie on the market for destruction, now she is over 40 or 50 and is suing YouTube to remove this porn movie from the YouTube site.

I think they had regrets for different reasons altho they both felt exploited by the director.  She had trouble getting different kind of acting jobs and Brando was allowed to improvise so much (scene/link provided by Chris, for example) he embarrassed himself.  Critic Pauline Kael, who championed the movie, wrote that the movie is about alienation evidently something Brando knew quite alot about and is one of a kind.
