Did you see this on Agon?

Pretty neat.  I know there are some here that have a creative side with paint, pictures, photos, computers, etc.  Maybe I'm cheep but $325 seemed high for an un-framed photo.

How about a similar pic with a bazzar flame encapsulated in the bottle?

A dark room with glowing bottles?

How about a pic or painting on some sort of absobive material instead of the same old flat behind  the glass image?   (I guess there is one thing good about black velvet paintings   )

A Maruska on 1" foam?

Thoughts?     's

I had an idea for photos on an absorbent material.  I wanted to market it but haven't sent the images in for a test run yet.  I've submitted a patent on it already.

But, most Art, photography or paintings start in the low hundreds unframed.  The guy that shot that stuff has probably got several thousand in lighting alone.  Plus he has to pay for a studio, film processing, time to deal with it all, etc.  So, $300+ seems fair to me.

However, putting those shots on a standard, flat photo does not appeal to me for a sound room.  I'll post some pix of what I put together once I have a final product.  I was thinking photos of instruments, singers, and places rather than gear, though.

Cool Carl,  I would prefer musicians, instruments too.  But the tube is about the only piece of gear I'd like to see.  $300? if that is what it is, that's what it is.   Think volume...
