Help with sourcing of Male BNC (solder / solder)
« on: 2 Feb 2011, 02:47 pm »
I've been searching and am unable to find a male BNC that has solder for both the pin and shield.  I'm not using coax so it must solder.

No, this is not audio related...it's only carrying low voltage signal.

I need the mating connector to this.

Because they are designed for RF frequencies they are nearly always crimped. I have seen ones that just twist on to the coax, some searching would probably turn them up.

Try a Pomona 5218 or 5307.

Try these. I have a pair but haven't used them yet. They look good and are well made. He has been reliable.
