I have a 14BSST2 and a Torus RM20. I get the "buzzing sound" when the red light is on the amp until it switches to green. I get the buzzing sound no matter if it is plugged in to the RM20 or a wall outlet.

Most likely.  It just bugs me that I don't understand why it would do it in one instance and not in the other.

My 28B SST² amplifiers starts (Buzz) the same way because of a “soft start” power up (I do not have a Torus). I am wondering if the Torus unit also has a “soft start” power up sequence and this may be causing your amplifiers to Buzz like mine do.

Be well...

Hi Laundrew

I have a 14BSST2 amp plugged in to a Torus RM 20 power conditioner. I hear a buzzing sound from my 14BSST2 amp even if it is plugged in to the back of the Torus power conditioner or a wall socket/outlet 110/120 volt. The buzzing sound starts up when the amps red light comes on and disappears when the green light comes on and then there silence after that.

My Torus RM20 does not have a “soft start” power up sequence and I leave the RM 20 on 24 hrs a day except in a lightning storm.

I would say this noise is normal and just enjoy the music.

Dunno guys, starting mine is a Hail Mary thing. Tupac style as the speakers are blasting this during powerup:

Makaveli in this... Killuminati, all through your body
The blow's like a twelve gauge shotty
Uhh, feel me!

Badabam...
