With the condition of some of my vinyl I would at least need 4WD or AWD. Perhaps GPS could be installed to help find particular tracks.  :wink:

Would be interested to see what Mikey F does to optimize the alignment....Baerwald (sic), linear, etc or would he go to Midas ?  Toys R Us?

This little toy would really have to be moving to travel at 33RPM, especially as it approaches the inner grooves. I would expect a lot of wheel spinning and fishtailing as it goes around too.

A working you tube video would tell us a lot. Can't imaging that sound actually comes out of this. I bet it just uses the groove as a guide to keep on track ... for a while until the force becomes too great and it skips out of the groove.

But hey, it would be easier to play records backwards now! Just turn it around and let it run.
