Affordable Async DACS Nuforce UDAC2 vs HRT Music Streamer II

Affordable Async DACS Nuforce UDAC2 vs HRT Music Streamer II

has anyone heard both of these at all?  After a lot of thought and research I've decide i'm going to use a laptop for a source and so need a good USB DAC.  I've heard positive things about both and since they have Async USB they can play 24/96 files.  was just wondering what people thought of each if they have used them?

I unfortunately have not heard the uDac, but I own the HRT II and it is a very good value IMHO.

Had a look at the Nuforce web site.
I don't see any claim that the uDAC has asynchronous USB
What am I missing?

sorry I should have specified that the nuforce, doesn't state Async.. sorry misworded it though if its not, its interesting that is can play 24/96 at that price point if its not Async.. eitherway was just trying to see if anyone was able to compare the two?

I have the HRT II+. I feel it offers excellent performance and am very satisfied with it.  :thumb:
