open room ...need suggestions
« on: 23 Jan 2011, 12:59 pm »
I have a large listening room that is open on the left side to the kitchen and breakfast room. My left speaker has no wall or enclosure to its left, but does share the front wall with my right speaker. The right side has the usual room set up with the front wall and a side wall. I need some kind of false wall or panel on the left side. I looked at the GIK panels and they look good and I would use one with the wood stand. My only hesitation is they are open at the bottom and dont go completely to the floor. Is that ok or should I try and find one that is say 4ft tall and three ft wide and goes all the way to the floor?????? If you sit in the kitchen breakfast room all you hear is bass as well as a not so special left side in the main listening position in the great room.

Thanks Charles
I had seen this one before and was worried about the height but I see that they can do it in custom sizes so I will give them a call
