Parts Express Dayton Sub Cabs
« on: 20 Jan 2011, 02:56 pm »
Anyone use these?  I am looking to do a pair of subs but do not really feel like building the cabs.  I also do not want to spend $700/cab.  I am willing to spend more then this maybe up to $300 each for a nice cab.

If you've never used/seen a PE cab you're in for a treat. Assuming they are built the same as the speaker cabs - and it appears they are from the description - they're more than worth the money. I have their speaker cabs and the black gloss finish is beautiful, the construction rock-solid. The subs are bigger but I doubt they'll fail the knuckle rap test. Their cabs make any project look $$$...unlike Madisound cabs - gah!

I used the old flat kit they used to sell and it was awesome.  It assembled easy and was very solid and heavy.  I think these cabs look different (not as much bracing) but PE is a good company and I expect them to be solid.  Not a bad deal.
