what is better choice on interconnect from step up tranny to linestage?

in Jim's writings on loading, it seems that IC with lesser capacitance is better.

i have to choose one between van den hul d-102, and van den hul d-501.

d 102 is not assorted as phonocable by van den hul but it has lower capacitance than 501.

501 is highly recommended and used throughout many tonearm company.
 capacitance : 501 has 75pF, and 102 has 37pF.

what do you think about that?

what are you going to choose Jim? if you were me

thanks.

In my humble opinion - it is best to use twisted pair wire between cartridge and step-up (capacitance isn't really an issue here), and then coaxial wire from output of step-up to phonostage.

This is because interference on the primary is magnetic, and electrical on secondary.  You need to optimize for both worlds.  On secondary, the capacitance is critical.  That is why I use short coax wires on the step-up I sell and a super-low capacitive input design on the Trumpet.  You try to maximize bandwidth extension at both ends and minimize external noise sources.

jh :)
