Opinions on Zhaolu D2.5C wanted

Is this a decent Dac?  Would it be much of an upgrade over my 707?

Zhaolu seems to have more features and you can swap opamps (dunno if you can do that w/ 707). Same DAC chip. I'd wager overall sound quality to be similar. Unless you're buying one used for real cheap, you'd be better off getting any of the Audio-gd Dacs or maybe even HRT Streamer. Seems like most people mod their Zhaolou's and if that's the gameplan there are cheaper, easier, and potentially better sounding options for modding. Just my .02.

Actually my interest in this is that a buddy has one that he no longer uses.  His opinion seems to match yours.  If I remember correctly it only cost him about $200 new.
