Amarra or Pure Music over wireless?
«

Hello,
I'm using iTunes and an Airport Express to play computer files over the living room system. Can use either of these software brands with my setup? I know the Airport is limited to 16 bit.
Best,
Mike

Pure Music cannot be used with Airport Express.

Amarra was thought also not to support AirTunes, but some people have gotten it to work.

Otherwise other users have used Rogue Amoeba's Airfoil to capture the stream and send to Airport Express I also use Airfoil to send browser streams to Airport Express.

Steve, et al:
If I understand correctly, Channel D's site suggests that Rogue's Airfoil will work to stream Pure Music to AEX / ATV, but what isn't clear is whether resolution is limited.
Anyone have experience to confirm?
