Just to be sure after reading the previous posts in another topic (the board warned me about topic age and recommended a new topic): it is recommended that the cable from my 28b to my esl 63, which is placed right above the 28b is as short as possible? I've got a cable rolled up now resting on the 28b which doesn't get hot or anything, but doesn't look to good either. Cable could be as short as 40 cm in my setup.

There is nothing wrong with waking up old toppics, as long as the content stays relevant.
Speaker cables should be as short as possible. if you can do with only 2 inch: perfect!
