Yes - read that yesterday.  A shame.  That one album was really excellent and he did some other great stuff too

If you have a chance to listen to "Can I Have My Money Back" Lp, it's worth a listen....Bill

There's a bunch of older albums I use to own many moons ago on vinyl that I've not bought on CD.  I keep hoping for some nice SHM SACDs from Japan.  I just bought Cream's "Wheels of Fire" and Traffic's "John Barleycorn Must Die."  I'm hoping they release some stuff like Gerry Rafferty but I'm not holding my breath as they seem to be hitting on more commercially successful things.  I guess I can't complain as if they released everything I'd want at the price they get per disc, I'd go broke.

City to City & Night Owl are the only two I was familiar with... I will definitely check out Can I have my Money Back & his others. Too bad it's his death that prompted it though...

I'll have to check that album out as well.  He was asked by Eric Clapton and others to go out on tour but declined and did very little touring himself.   He was somewhat of a recluse and died from liver failure resulting from alchol abuse
