Bought this from directly from Joseph Chow about a year ago so it is in perfect working order.
It has the $375 mod already done to it (check our their website below for the details of what is done) -
and note that the asking price is probably not much more than the mod and shipping both ways - they charged me $40 to ship it to me. Sounds superb. Am only selling as my main system (I have 2 secondary systems but they are geared towards home theater) is my music system and I am moving from a preamp/processor to a preamp with HT bypass and a newer processor. The preamp I am moving to is a 2-box unit with a separate power supply and therefore I am moving from a single box preamp/processor to a preamp/processor (that is a physically bigger unit) and 2 additional audio pieces and do not have room for it in the rack. It's only been used about 10 hours or less since I bought the unit,The TU-717 is listed as number 17 on the shoot-out of the best tuners made before the mods.
