DAC-19MK3 Technical characteristic:

Accepts USB, Optical and Coaxial input.
The DAC-19MK3 is an upgraded model of DAC19SE and now it employs 2 top-grade PCM1704UK Digital-to-Analog converters running in parallel. ACSS technology brings out the full potential and excellence of PCM1704UK.
The super scale ACSS module is newly developed with more advanced technologies dedicated to the DAC-19MK3 to produce even better sound quality. High precision electronic components are used to guarantee accurate balanced output and all electronic components in the circuit board are comprised of highly calibrated products. All audio signals will go through the ACSS processing technique to ensure that the original characteristics and nuances of the PCM1704UK are not diluted at whichever output is chosen. The DAC-19MK3 does not have OPA-IC in the signal path and only discrete components are used.
DAC-19MK3 mostly uses DALE resistors, EVOX (RIFA) capacitors, and the digital input circuit employs SOLEN capacitors for coupling. Electrolyte Caps are custom ordered from NOVER (The brand from UK), precisely matched transistors are used, RCA sockets are custom ordered and 24K gold plated. All transistors are Toshiba and Hitachi audio grade products.
The power regulation components such as the Power transformer and rectifiers being the sources of radiating interference are all carefully shielded, with a high performance 80W R-coil transformer enclosed in an all aluminum classis.

The DAC-19MK3 uses the DIR9001 chipset accept the digital inputs and performs demodulation, the DIR9001 exhibits an exceptional fixed Jitter value is as low as 50PS, which is the lowest Jitter demodulation chip at present, while CS8414/8412 Jitter value is as high as 200PS.

Single Coaxial /Optical / USB inputs are available with two sets RCA outputs.

DAC-19MK3 uses 8 groups of parallel Class A voltage regulators which are combined into double parallel voltage regulators to lower the internal resistance and to purify power supply. A separate Silence control circuit is powered with each regulator separately. Such power supply setup is rare in domestic designs and it inherits substantial prestige and advantages of imported high end products.

I got one of these a while back....and I sure as hell didn't pay $445 for it.  This is a screamin' deal for a DAC that punches well above its weight.  Wish I had seen this one before I bought mine.

Buy it before I find a use for a second one.

Which digital filter does it have, the DF1704 or PMD100?

EDIT: never mind the specs indicate PMD100...
