I use to use two DD-15's and then auditioned a F-113.
Just one F-113 blew the DD's out of the music,no contest as far as blending in.
She's tight,musical,everything she produced fit like it was meant to be.
I then added another as two just gives a nice solid layer of bottomend no matter where you sit.
Any sub ,if you move even a few inches from your spot,the bottomend changes,two just does it.
I was quite shocked with the JL as to how much better she fit in,where the DD's were not as fast,
sound was bloated,sustained if you will.The JL was taught,quick had tone ect.
Better to go with one great sub than two mediocre.I see quite a few guys are using F-112's.
Too bad you couldn't audition both and then you'll hear for yourself,what is musical and what isn't
