Hey, I got a quick question...how do I make the above connection?

Can I use the unbalance out (left and right) from BP26 to the Fathom F113? This will send the full stereo signal to the sub without filtering low frequencies out from the signals sent to the main Left and Right speakers. Do I need a separate active crossover?

What is the best connection method/s?

Yes you can use the full range output from the BP26 as long as the sub has level and frequency control built in.

AS James says,Yes, I run two F-113's Y'd R+L out of 26 to the JL's.
There is the level,lowpass,ARO ect.but no highpass on the JL's.
I also use two on the  movie side of things.Two for tunes and two for movies.

Do I need the highpass filters? What does it do?? Sorry...I may have asked some dumb questions here. Have not integrated a sub to a stereo setup before

A high pass filter allows you to attenuate the amount of low end information being sent to your mains.  I have a pair of F113 and run my speakers full range then bring the subs in steep and cut them off around 50hZ to round out the low end...no active crossover or high pass filter needed....

Thanks Guys, it seems most folks use two F113 instead of one? Is that anything to do with Bryston electronics or simply room or performance related?

My room is only about 15ft (L) x 9ft (B) x 8ft (H) and the stand mount speakers are 6 feet apart set up at the 9 ft wall. The speakers are 2.6ft into the room and the listening position is about 7 feet from the speakers. I have got book shafts of my left and furniture on my right... You think 2 x F113 is too much of a good thing? Or if even 1 unit of F113 is overwhelming? Would the F110 be a better match or more musical for my Dynaudio Focus 110 with only 5 1/2 inch driver?

Most people use 2 (or more) subwoofers not necessarily to produce more bass, but to even out the bass peaks and nulls that a single subwoofer might produce.
 
Given your smallish room size, I think that two F113s would probably be overkill.  Larger drivers will certainly be more effective in reproducing movie sound effects, but it looks like your goal is bass augmentation for 2 channel music.  A pair of F110s will certainly produce enough solid bass for music, and the money saved could probably be put to better use elsewhere.

I use to use two DD-15's and then auditioned a F-113.
Just one F-113 blew the DD's out of the music,no contest as far as blending in.
She's tight,musical,everything she produced fit like it was meant to be.
I then added another as two just gives a nice solid layer of bottomend no matter where you sit.
Any sub ,if you move even a few inches from your spot,the bottomend changes,two just does it.
I was quite shocked with the JL as to how much better she fit in,where the DD's were not as fast,
sound was bloated,sustained if you will.The JL was taught,quick had tone ect.
Better to go with one great sub than two mediocre.I see quite a few guys are using F-112's.
Too bad you couldn't audition both and then you'll hear for yourself,what is musical and what isn't .

The first room was HUGE 11X15,I obviously had the subs just set very low(vol. wise).
We just moved into a bigger house and this room is bigger(but not huge)12X21.
I have 4XF-113's in here(2 for music and 2 for movies)Two subs,when you hear it,just sounds like a
complete bottomend.One I found was fine,but something was missing.
The speakers are Revel 50a's across the front and S-30's for surrounds.
I like them but I have been visualising PMC's MB2I's for awhile(just because).
Would have had them by now but we bought another house and of course with my cave,I needed a
Projector(JVC's DLA HD-250) .

I'd never go back to just one sub,it's like walking on one foot,I like balance .

I have heard the PMC its stunning You definitely got enough space to house them and would be a perfect match for your Bryston gears...I will give one unit of F113 a try before moving on to two since mine is a smallest room as compared to your

No problem.If your buying a JL orrrrr ,I'd home audition another after you have had time to get a feel for the `1st sub.The problem with that is,with two you won't want to go back to one,ENJOY.
