VSA moving to new digs...

I just got an email from Albert and he has asked that I post an update here regarding the relocation of the VSA mfg. facility. In short, according to his message, business has picked up by some 200% necessitating the move. VSA as most here already know is now handling house brand cables, Eera CD players and KR tube amps. All this equates to greater floor space needs. The new location is in Riverside CA, much closer to LA and will sport a larger showroom for customer demos and....(drum roll)....double the lab space, a good thing for any mad scientist!

Albert says that they will have the capability of building twice as many pairs of speakers per week as they have at their present location and that he may be hiring additional assemblers. Job creation...what a novel concept eh? Sounds like VSA is alive and well despite the economy. Way to go Albert!

Looks like 2011 will be a good year for all of us with VSA.

That's good news! Did Albert give you any info on what he plans to have on display at the CES Show in Vegas?

Hi Henry,

I also meant to say that as a result of the move, VSA will not be attending CES this year. So much for Vegas I guess.

If you talk with Albert, see if he can put some pics of his new digs on his website. Better yet, a short video clip, I think it would be a great way to show how a loudspeaker is produced.

I have been speaking with someone from the VSA family and glad to see the move mentioned here. It a bit of a bummer about CES but it sounds like the break from this show is needed.

Way to go Albert and crew! Glad business is doing well
