Wow! Well, I owned a pair of thos air conditioner looking speakers. At least the front looked like an air conditioner. lol. I also owned an Ma6100, integrated amp and a MR74 tuner. I had it all until it all but the speakers were stolen while I took a nap in the next room. Those speakers by today's standards, weren't that good. The mids say oooh about 500 hz on up sounded like you had a cold. The ML2C sounded much better.
It's kinda funny, a company owns both Marantz, and Denon and Mac all at the same time.
I remember playing with that StereoTech receiver. I think it went for $600 at the time. Never saw there speakers though.
That MC2505 if that's the one I remember built in the early .70's, I think if memmory serves me right, the Grateful Dead bought several of them.
Well that's my bit of memmory with Macintosh.
