Preamp Recommendation for VAC/Marantz 8b Auricle EL34 Stereo Tube Amp?

Hello,

I need some help picking a compatable tube preamp to mate with a mint
VAC 55 watt triode/ultra switching take on a Marantz 8b amp that I just
scored.  Speakers are NOLA Boxer.

Any and all suggestions are sincerely appreciated. Thanks.

  With the character of both amps being on the rich side a CAT preamp would fit quite nicely.
  If ya like SS Klyne, Nelson Pass, Ayre. Pretty much neutral in presentation. Have fun trying.
